• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure the presentation of beverages is visually appealing.
• Interact with guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about beverages and menu items.
• Coordinate with banquet staff to ensure smooth beverage service during events.
• Set up and dismantle beverage stations based on event specifications.
• Ensure beverages meet quality standards and are served at the proper temperature.
• Track and manage inventory to minimize waste and avoid shortages.
• Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well maintained.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Suggest additional items to enhance the guest experience.
• Promote premium and specialty beverages when appropriate.
• Accurately handle cash and process guest payments.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer while following proper cash-handling procedures.
• Work closely with banquet staff to ensure smooth and successful event service.
• Provide support in other banquet service areas as needed.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Knowledge of beverage trends, mixology, and presentation.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Proven experience as a bartender in a banquet or upscale setting.
• TIPS or similar certification is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment.
