Automotive Tint & Paint Protection & Wrap Installer Apprentice
All Out G&D Lil Miss Tinter • Battleford, SK, CA
Posted 3 hours ago
Starting wage: $16.00/hour | No experience required
This is a skilled trade apprenticeship, not a “cool job working around cars.”
We are looking for someone who genuinely wants to learn professional automotive window tint and paint protection film (PPF) installation and become extremely good at it.
You do NOT need previous tint or PPF experience. We are willing to train the right person from the ground up.
But before you apply, understand what the job actually looks like.
Some days are fun. Other days you'll spend an hour working on a piece of film only to discover something isn't good enough, remove it, and start again.
You'll stand for long periods. You'll clean the same area more than once. You'll work with your hands all day. You'll be expected to notice tiny imperfections. You'll repeat processes until they become second nature. And while you're learning, experienced installers WILL correct your work.
If you're looking for an easy job or think tint and PPF just looks fun on social media, please don't apply.
If you like working with your hands, take pride in getting things right, and want to master a skill that most people cannot do, we want to meet you.
Starting wage with zero experience is $16.00/hour.
Your earning potential increases as your skill, quality, speed, independence, and responsibility increase. Raises are based on competency, not simply how long you've worked here.
We invest heavily in developing the right people and may send successful apprentices for professional industry training.
Because of that investment, we are specifically looking for someone who wants to build a career with us and is prepared to make a minimum three-year commitment.
Company-paid advanced training may require a separate written training agreement.
If you're looking for something temporary while you figure out your next move, this isn't the position.
You will start at the bottom and earn your way into increasingly advanced installation work.
Responsibilities will include:
Learning professional automotive window tint installation
Learning paint protection film (PPF) installation
Properly preparing and cleaning vehicles before installation
Learning safe and proper use of knives, heat guns, squeegees, plotters, and specialty installation tools
Following our established installation processes and quality standards
Assisting experienced installers while developing your own skills
Inspecting your work for imperfections before considering a job complete
Removing and redoing your own work when it does not meet our quality standards
Learning how to balance excellent quality with production speed
Maintaining clean, organized tools, installation bays, and work areas
Taking constructive criticism and applying it to the next job
Asking questions when you don't understand something instead of guessing
Working independently once competency has been demonstrated
Working cooperatively with the rest of the team
Taking increasing ownership of customer vehicles as your skills develop
Eventually completing installations from vehicle preparation through final quality control
We aren't expecting perfection on Day 1.
We ARE expecting effort, accountability, improvement, and the ability to be coached.
Experience is not required.
We're more interested in your attitude, work ethic, and ability to learn a technical, hands-on skill.
You should apply if you:
Are reliable and consistently show up on time
Enjoy working with your hands
Have strong hand-eye coordination
Can concentrate on one task for extended periods
Have patience for detailed work
Take pride in the quality of what you produce
Can accept direct, respectful feedback without taking it personally
Are willing to redo something when it isn't good enough
Can follow an established process even when you think there may be a shortcut
Can eventually work independently without constant supervision
Work well as part of a team
Take responsibility for mistakes instead of hiding them or blaming someone else
Want to learn and master a skilled trade
Want a long-term career and are prepared to commit to at least three years
Understand that earning more comes from becoming more valuable, skilled, and independent
Please DON'T apply if you:
Are looking for an easy job
Get bored quickly doing repetitive work
Don't like being corrected
Think “good enough” is good enough
Regularly jump from job to job
Need constant supervision to stay productive
Hide mistakes instead of owning them
Have difficulty following someone else's process
Expect large wage increases before developing the skills to justify them
Want us to invest significant time and money into training you but aren't prepared to make a serious commitment in return
Are applying simply because working around vehicles sounds fun
A valid driver's licence is strongly preferred.
WORK AUTHORIZATION
You must already be legally entitled to work in Canada.
If you are currently outside Canada, you must already hold a valid open work permit that allows you to work in Canada.
Please do not apply from outside Canada expecting All Out Graphics & Design to obtain a work permit or provide immigration sponsorship in order for you to accept this position.
Compensation
$16 - 19 hourly
All Out Graphics & Design has been operating since 2014.
We specialize in professional automotive services, including window tint, PPF, commercial vehicle graphics, and other vehicle protection.
We aren't a brand-new shop trying to figure this industry out. We've spent more than a decade building our reputation, developing our processes, learning from mistakes, and improving our craft. Now we're looking for the next person who wants to grow with us.
We believe skilled trades can provide an incredible career for someone willing to put in the work to master them. We will provide training, opportunity, and a path to greater responsibility and earning potential. And as your value to the company grows, your opportunities here can grow with it.
If you're looking for somewhere to punch a clock for a few months, there are easier jobs.
If you're looking for somewhere to build a skill and become part of a company that's been doing this for more than a decade, we'd like to hear from you.
