Our team is rapidly expanding, and we are currently looking for a new automotive technician to join our service center. The ideal candidate will be eager to diagnose and facilitate automotive repairs using our automotive computer software and their electrical systems expertise. - Help establish service protocols for tracking the status of repairs, maintaining relevant technical manuals, using charts, and more for all of our dealerships
- Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems
- Perform routine maintenance, as needed, like checking fluid levels, rotating tires, and oil changes
- Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both customers and auto mechanics
- Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes
- Verified experience in the automotive maintenance and repair industry
- Secondary training in Automotive Technology is preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED is required
- ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive
- Excellent customer service and communications skills are necessary
Compensation
$50,000 - $80,000 yearly
