In this role, you’ll use your product knowledge to consult on high-performance modifications, draft accurate cost estimates, and coordinate routine maintenance and necessary repairs. • Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs.
• Create accurate work orders, including detailed descriptions of customer concerns, required repairs, and recommended upgrades.
• Utilize various resources, including local parts stores, wholesale distributors, online retailers, OEM dealerships, and salvage yards, to locate and procure parts.
• Obtain customer authorization for repairs.
• Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure the timely and accurate completion of work.
• Provide regular updates to customers on the status of their vehicles.
• Explain repairs and maintenance services to customers in a clear and understandable manner.
• Prepare and present repair estimates to customers.
• Process payments and deliver completed vehicles to customers.
• Meet or exceed sales and customer satisfaction goals.

• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Writer (minimum 2 years).
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
