- Work with auto mechanic team members to determine vehicle problems and solutions
- Pursue continued education opportunities to grow technical skills
- Complete preventive maintenance work on vehicles, including oil changes, air conditioning service, filling fluids, and replacing brake pads, spark plugs, and batteries
- Keep organized vehicle repairs, maintenance, and service history records.
- Perform system inspections, test drives, and diagnostic tests to determine necessary repair work
- An associate's degree from a vocational or technical school and/or ASE certification are a plus
- Valid driver’s license needed
- Good manual dexterity and effective use of hand tools and other equipment needed for vehicle repairs
- Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills are necessary
Compensation
$15 to $30 per hour
Spencer's Auto and Diesel in Ocala, FL, provides general auto and diesel services to keep customers' vehicles running properly. All mechanical work is completed by certified, expert auto repair and service technicians with many years of expertise in performing various auto and diesel mechanical work, from simple oil changes to entire engine overhauls.
