Responsibilities

Source and remediate mechanical problems and malfunction codes that are identified in the vehicle's mechanical systems, electrical system, and electronic systems
Collaborate with supervisors and fellow auto mechanics to diagnose and repair vehicles’ mechanical issues
Encourage and facilitate preventive maintenance work such as oil changes, air conditioning service, flushing, brake replacement, tire rotation, and more
Maintain accurate customer records for vehicles’ repairs, parts, maintenance histories, and more
Generating repair estimates, timelines, and process documents for automotive work

Qualifications

Experience and manual dexterity using hand tools and other equipment is needed
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Excellent work ethic, listening, problem-solving, and communication skills are desired
Preferred education is an associate’s degree from a technical school or relevant automotive program and/or ASE certification
A valid driver’s license is necessary

Compensation

$15 - $30/hour
