We are The Ryan Law Group, a full-service Personal Injury law firm located in Manhattan Beach, CA. We’re looking to bring on a full-time Attorney who is ready to hit the ground running and thrive in a collaborative, client-focused team!

Our office is located right at the intersection of Highland and Rosecrans in Manhattan Beach, with a beautiful view of the beach right from our windows. The Strand and the sand are just a two-minute walk away!

As an Attorney at The Ryan Law Group, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Report to the Managing Attorney, Andrew Ryan
• Manage a full caseload (150+ cases) of personal injury matters in active litigation
• Conduct and defend depositions 
• Draft and argue motions, including discovery motions and motions for summary judgment
• Appear for case management conferences and hearings
• Develop case strategies and evaluate case value based on liability and damages
• Collaborate with and delegate to support staff (legal assistants, case managers) 
• Maintain proactive and empathetic client communication throughout the litigation process
• Prepare for and attend mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences
• Stay on top of Court deadlines and ensure events are properly calendared
• Represent clients at trial as needed, with support from the Managing Attorney

Requirements:

• Must be licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
• At least 6 months of experience working as an attorney at another firm
• Must be able to commute to and work in-person at our office in Manhattan Beach 
• Close attention to detail
• Organized
• Strong communication skills
• Outgoing personality, people person 
• Able to multitask
• Able to handle own tasks in addition to delegating to support staff
• Good follow-up and follow-through with tasks 
• Able to think proactively and creatively
• Team player
• Prior personal injury experience preferred, but not required
