• Review and summarize medical records

• Talk with clients and maintain ongoing communication

• Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Attend court hearings, facilitations, and depositions

• Prepare facilitation summaries

• Prepare demand letters and negotiate settlements

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school (required)

• Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan (required)

• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Proficient computer skills, including use of the Internet, email, word processing, and case management software
