Your Role

As an Associate Licensed Therapist, you’ll support a diverse caseload of approximately 25 clients, including children, teens, and adults navigating trauma or neurodivergence. You’ll provide trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy in a hybrid setting, using approaches that go beyond traditional talk therapy.

You won’t be doing this work alone — you’ll be surrounded by a team that values collaboration, growth, and shared purpose.

Compensation:

This is a part-time, non-salaried, fee-for-service position with the potential opportunity to work as many hours as preferred, with a minimum of 25 hours weekly.

Key Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, trauma-informed individual counseling to clients experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and related mental health concerns.

• Provide individual, trauma-informed therapy for clients experiencing PTSD, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns.
• Conduct intake assessments and brief clinical check-ins for neurofeedback clients.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in clinical consultation, Neurofeedback Clinical Rounds, and ongoing training.
• Develop expertise in integrating neurofeedback with EMDR and other therapeutic approaches.
• Collaborate with clinicians to support individualized, client-centered care.
• Demonstrate strong organization, reliability, consistency, and punctuality.

• Connecticut-licensed LMSW or LPCA eligible to provide psychotherapy.

• Training in EMDR or trauma-focused therapy preferred; willingness to pursue training strongly encouraged.

• Strong commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, and client-centered clinical care.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Experience with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) and timely clinical documentation preferred.

• Collaborative, dependable, organized, and adaptable.

• Motivated to expand clinical expertise in trauma therapy, EMDR, neurofeedback, and integrative approaches.

• Commitment to ongoing clinical supervision, consultation, and professional development.

• Availability for late afternoons, early evenings, and Saturdays.
