Responsibilities
- Maintain databases, records, and bookkeeping, ensuring all paperwork is up to date
- Onboard incoming and retain existing clients via a variety of customer service tasks, such as appointment booking and responding to inquiries regarding billing, coverage, eligibility, and insurance policies
- Evaluate new customers’ insurance needs, insurance risk, existing coverage, long-term goals, and financial status through consultations to create a tailored experience that exceeds expectations
- Process current policyholders’ insurance claims while monitoring the status of existing insurance claims
- Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertising our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies
- Make strategic product, plan, and investment recommendations and financial advice to help clients reach their monetary goals
- Consider clients’ life stage, professional circumstances, and changing financial needs when developing tailored financial plans to suit their needs
- Seek, identify, and secure strong relationships with new clients by serving as their trusted financial advisor
- Determine cash flow, income, financial status, financial goals, monetary assets and all other financial situations related to wealth management to help clients define and achieve their financial objectives
- Serve as a collaborative team player willing to further development through continued training opportunities
Qualifications
- Possesses outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Prior health insurance or life insurance experience a bonus
- Must have graduated from high school or received a GED; a Bachelor’s degree is desired
- Previous customer service or experience as a sales representative preferred
- Current Life & Health insurance license is greatly valued
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or other related field
- Up-to-date FINRA Series 7 & 63/66 documents are a bonus
- Exemplary math skills, communication skills, and relationship skills to support strong customer service for current and new clients
- Basic knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office, financial planning software, Google Suite, CRM systems, and related programs is needed
- Baseline knowledge about financial industry concepts, financial products, and the role of a financial advisor is desired
Compensation
$117,000 - $117,000/year
