Mid-Level Business / Corporate Associate Attorney
KEW Legal is a woman-owned business and real estate law firm serving enterprising clients and investors as their legal and consulting department. We help business owners and investors execute with confidence, combining meticulous transactional work with proactive, business-centered counsel. Our culture prizes responsiveness, clarity, and results.
We are seeking a Mid-Level Associate with 4–6 years of corporate/business law experience who is ready to hit the ground running.
Why This Seat Is Different
Your originations pay you. 10% of collected fees from the clients you bring in, on top of base salary.
A path to Senior Attorney. This is a growth seat with room to advance as your book and responsibilities grow — not a holding pattern.
Woman-owned and lean. Decisions get made in days, not committee cycles.
What You Will Do
Form, structure, and maintain Florida entities (LLCs and corporations), including operating and shareholder agreements, cap table changes, member and stock transfers, and governance.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts: services agreements, vendor agreements, NDAs, MSAs, asset and stock purchase agreements, and commercial leases.
Serve as outside general counsel to growth-stage clients — compliance spotting, contract lifecycle management, and risk-weighted advice that keeps deals on track.
Build a personal book of business — develop relationships, bring in new clients, and see them through onboarding. Origination is compensated;
Meet the annual billable requirement, which is in accordance with your base salary.
Maintain an active Florida CLE plan and ongoing professional development in corporate and business law.
Represent the firm at networking events, speaking engagements, and other opportunities as delegated by the Owner.
What You Bring
Member in good standing of The Florida Bar.
4–6 years of experience in corporate/business law.
Demonstrated drafting precision and deal management under tight timelines.
Excellent written and verbal communication with business clients and counterparties.
Strong ownership bias — accountability for outcomes, not just tasks.
Professionalism and integrity in every interaction with clients, counsel, and staff.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Clio.
Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
NOTE: Before submitting your resume along with your cover letter, please answer the following question: List 3–5 business or corporate matters you handled in the last two years. For each one: the type of matter, what you personally drafted or negotiated, whether you ran it or supported another attorney, and how it resolved
