We are located in Richmond, KY, and we are seeking an Associate Attorney with a background in probate, estate planning, and guardianship matters.
Compensation, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance:
The Associate’s initial compensation will be based upon prior experience and current pay. Raises will be based on job performance.
10 paid Holidays per year.
21 PTO days per year.
Health Insurance is 100% paid for the employee by the firm.
Vision and Dental Insurance are offered to employees at a nominal cost.
Life Insurance, short-term disability insurance, cancer policies, and accident policies are offered to employees at a nominal cost.

The Job
This associate will be responsible for all aspects of clients’ cases, including:
- Conducting initial consultations and devising strategies;
- Delegating work to paralegals and legal assistants, and monitoring their work;
- Preparing documents for sophisticated Estate Plans;
- Leading and participating in final meetings with clients; and
- Attending Court as necessary.
Our preferred candidate:
Is an active member of the State Bar of Kentucky;
Has preferably 3-5 years’ experience;
Has Estate Planning and/or Elder Law experience;
Has the capacity to handle cases and clients independently (after a period of orientation and monitored work);
Shows compassion when dealing with clients and has a talent for winning their confidence and respect;
Is willing to work hard to see that clients receive top-notch service and results.
We are looking for someone who has character, intelligence, and integrity, and someone who contributes positively to the atmosphere within the office, exhibiting the key traits of a leader by example.
Compensation
$75,000 - $90,000 yearly
We care about clients, not just their cases. Our policies ensure clients receive care and attention at every stage, and when personal needs arise, we do our best to help. This leads to happier clients and a better workplace.
We prioritize both client experience and staff well-being. No overtime or weekend calls are expected, but excellence is required. Team members participate in quarterly retreats, weekly meetings, training, and coaching.
