We’re searching for someone enthusiastic who takes direction well and who communicates easily with members and team members. The server assistant works closely with our main servers to make sure members get their food on time and their beverage glasses stay filled. You’ll be responsible for clearing plates and cleaning the table when customers leave, and then resetting it with tableware for the next guests.
A sense of urgency and organization is required to keep the kitchen and server stations fully stocked with condiments and other food items. You’ll learn our menu to address member questions and alert servers when members need them. You should be familiar with food safety rules and have some food service experience. - Serve customers water, and other beverages, bring drinks to them, and make sure all condiments are refilled and placed on the table
- Seat customers, respond to any special needs and requests quickly, and relay them to the waiter or manager, if necessary
- Clean and clear tables of debris and bring dirty dishes to the kitchen to be washed. Prepare tables for the next guests
- Responsible for ensuring kitchen and server stations are kept fully stocked with condiments and all necessary items
- Deliver food to tables in a timely and orderly fashion, and ask if customers need anything else before leaving the table
- Experience working in the food services or QSR industry is preferred
- Must have a high school diploma or possess an equivalent GED
- Comfortable with frequent, extended periods of standing, lifting, and bending for the entire shift and/or closing
- Familiarity with proper handling of food and drinks and kitchen equipment
- Prepared to work nights, weekends, some holidays and help out team members with shifts when needed
Compensation
$18 - $21 hourly
