Bluefield is seeking an organized, personable, and detail-oriented Assistant HOA Community Manager to support the day-to-day management of homeowners associations.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our Director of HOA Management, homeowners, board members, vendors, and other members of the Bluefield team to help keep our communities running smoothly. The ideal candidate has previous experience in HOA or community association management and understands the unique responsibilities that come with serving homeowners and volunteer boards.

The Assistant HOA Community Manager position provides an opportunity to develop hands-on experience across all aspects of community association management and can serve as a pathway toward becoming a Community Manager.
As an Assistant HOA Community Manager, your responsibilities may include:
Assist our Director of HOA Management with the day-to-day operations of assigned communities
Respond to homeowner questions, requests, and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Communicate with board members, homeowners, vendors, and contractors
Assist with scheduling, preparing for, and following up on board and community meetings
Prepare meeting notices, agendas, correspondence, reports, and other community communications
Help coordinate maintenance requests, repairs, inspections, and vendor services
Obtain proposals and follow up with vendors regarding scheduled work and outstanding projects
Assist with property inspections and the documentation of covenant or rules violations
Prepare and send violation notices and other homeowner correspondence as directed
Maintain accurate homeowner, property, vendor, and association records
Assist with architectural review requests and track applications through completion
Help track outstanding projects, action items, homeowner requests, and board directives
Assist with budgets, invoices, financial reports, and other association administrative tasks
Provide excellent service while helping homeowners understand association policies, procedures, and responsibilities
Support the Director of HOA Management with special projects and other responsibilities as needed
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in HOA management, community association management, property management, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and ongoing projects at the same time
A professional and customer-service-oriented approach to working with homeowners and board members
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed when handling difficult or sensitive situations
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
Comfortable learning and working with property management software and other technology
Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, CRMs, and other systems
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
Candidates with experience in any of the following areas are especially encouraged to apply:
HOA or community association management
Residential property management
Community management software
Working with HOA boards or volunteer boards
Covenant and architectural guideline enforcement
Vendor and maintenance coordination
Homeowner or resident relations
Administrative support within real estate or property management
Industry credentials such as CMCA, AMS, or PCAM are a plus but are not required.
Compensation
$20 - $25 hourly
