Our firm is growing fast, and our attorneys need someone who takes care of critical admin duties to keep the business moving! This important position involves administrative duties related to file organization, client onboarding and offboarding, and direct attorney support.

Responsibilities
- Managing legal documents, both physical and electronic, using Dropbox;
- Answering phones and asking questions to get to the root of the problem;
- Task management, tracking deadlines, following written instructions, and checklists;
- Data entry, word processing, and email triaging;
- Basic internet searches for common information (ability to find locations, maps, contact information, etc.);
- Using basic office equipment;
- Timely retrieval, copying, scanning, and organizing documents;
- Opening and closing client files with accuracy while ensuring confidentiality standards are met;
- Supporting the legal teams as needed with document preparation and organization;
- Driving and delivering/receiving legal documents and correspondence to local and surrounding county courthouses, other law firms, clients, service processors, opposing parties, third parties, suppliers, vendors, etc.;
- Purchasing and handling of office supplies;
- Coverage of the reception desk; and
- Other ad hoc projects.
Qualifications
- Previous legal office experience is advantageous but not required.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, time management, and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently, switch gears quickly, follow directions, learn and remain coachable, ask for help, generate creative solutions, and travel locally.
- Understand the importance of a strong work ethic, completing tasks on time, proofreading before turning work in, and that reliability is critical.
- Convey confidence on the phone (with a smile), show empathy to clients, and put them at ease.
- Treat a call at 4:30 on Friday with the same care and compassion as one on Monday morning.
Compensation
$25,000 - $35,000/year
