The Actuarial Analyst performs pricing, reserving, forecasting, and analytical work within a Property & Casualty insurance environment. This position works closely with Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Product Development, and Leadership to analyze business performance, evaluate risk, support regulatory requirements, and provide strategic recommendations. This is a remote position with periodic on-site presence required. Candidates must live and work in Wisconsin and have eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Analyze rate adequacy, profitability, and product performance using actuarial and statistical techniques.

• Conduct pricing, reserving, and forecasting analyses.

• Develop, maintain, and validate actuarial models and reports.

• Collect, validate, and analyze internal and external data.

• Support rate filings, actuarial documentation, and regulatory compliance activities.

• Monitor claims trends, loss experience, and reserve adequacy.

• Partner with business teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.

• Prepare reports, exhibits, and presentations for management.

• Pursue actuarial credentials through the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS).

• Depending on qualifications, responsibilities may include independently leading complex analyses, applying predictive modeling techniques, and provide guidance to less experienced analysts.

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.

• Successful completion of one or more CAS examinations preferred. (Exam progress is a factor in determining salary)

• One to five years of actuarial experience in Property & Casualty insurance, actuarial consulting, or a related environment. (Experience is a factor in determining salary)

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with SQL, Python, R, SAS, Power BI, or similar analytical tools is preferred.

• Experience with pricing, reserving, predictive modeling, or regulatory filings is preferred.
