Hooks, Meng & Clement (HMC), a growing Las Vegas law firm, is seeking an Accounts Receivable / Collection Support Technician to join our legal billing team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with detailed financial data and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The selected candidate will collaborate with a team on payment application and account reconciliation, while also providing collection support. The position requires the ability to work both collaboratively and independently to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years of billing or accounts receivable experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Compensation

• Annual salary of $45,000+

• Process incoming payments to the appropriate accounts daily and in a precise manner
• Run accounts receivable reports to keep track of past due accounts and follow up on payments with clients
• Work with the client’s accounting department to resolve any billing inquiries to ensure payment in a timely manner
• Research payment deficiencies and reconcile outstanding invoices
• Coordinates correction activities and follows through to resolution and payment

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred
• At least two (2) years of accounting, bookkeeping, or insurance-related billing experience required
• Experience in a law firm and or Insurance/TPA environment preferred
• Efficiency in general office programs, such as MS Office, Excel, and billing software programs, is essential
• Able to produce a high-quality work product while handling multiple projects and deadlines, all while in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Attention to detail, in keeping with general accounting standards
• Knowledge of legal billing software, Clio, is a plus
• Reside in the Las Vegas area, as the position is in the office
