Are you a financial specialist capable of overseeing daily accounting operations while maintaining a strong focus on profitability? You might be the perfect candidate for our Accounting Manager position! We seek a passionate, detail-oriented specialist who can monitor internal control systems and make necessary modifications that affect the company's bottom line.

You will be in charge of payroll processing, monthly forecasting, reconciling general ledger accounts, and creating an annual budget. Our ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in finance and at least three years of account management experience. Please apply as soon as possible if this describes you!

Responsibilities

Effectively monitor and track all accounts receivable, while also creating and controlling accounts payable invoicing
Execute payroll audits monthly and provide paychecks to all employees
Increase profitability by evaluating balance sheets, income, expense accounts, and recommended adjustments while preserving accuracy
Produce monthly forecasts and annual budgets to assist the day-to-day accounting procedures and operations
Assess a list of daily revenue activity to ensure accountability, balance general ledger accounts, and fix any discrepancies or problematic accounts

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in business bookkeeping/accounting

Skilled in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Quickbooks or similar accounting software
Position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent; degree in finance or related field is strongly preferred
Superior customer service skills, math skills, relationship skills, and communication skills are preferred
Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

Compensation

$55,000 - $70,000/year
