We are looking for a Full-time, skilled tax preparer and accountant. Must have experience in income tax preparation - individual, corporate, partnership, etc., Also responsible for the preparation of client financial statements, overseeing books, making adjustments, corrections, etc. Must have a strong understanding of debits and credits as well as GAAP. Must be proficient in QuickBooks On-Line as well as Desktop. Great listening skills and the ability to work independently are also critical.

• Enter, adjust, reconcile, etc. accounting information, and prepare financial statements
• Prepare income tax returns - individual, corporate, partnership, estate, trust, etc.
• Communicate with clients regarding obtaining and reconciling book and tax information
• Work on special projects

• Previously with QuickBooks On-Line and Desktop, MS Office, etc.
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), of debits and credits
• Experience with the preparation of financial statements and reconciling with bank and other accounts to support schedules
• Bachelor's degree in accounting/related experience
• 3+ years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a bookkeeper
• Must exhibit exemplary problem-solving, communication, time management skills, and ability to work under deadlines
