Responsibilities

  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies

  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts

  • Process payroll and ensure accurate recording of employee compensation

  • Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices

  • Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data for reporting purposes

  • Manage payroll duties to ensure employees are paid on time and accurately

  • Conduct financial analysis for work centers, identify cost trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement

  • Ensure all books reconcile with bank statements and prepare financial statements

  • Process accounts receivable and accounts payable in a timely manner

  • Ensure transactions are recorded properly in all ledgers

  • Complete bookkeeping duties: Data entry and record maintenance

Qualifications

  • Experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the logistics industry

  • Ability to perform detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently

  • Proficiency in processing payroll and ensuring accurate employee compensation records

  • Strong skills in managing accounts payable and ensuring timely invoice payments

  • Experience in preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data for reporting purposes, enhancing team synergy and accuracy in financial reporting processes

Compensation

$60,000 - $65,000/year
